People do things for a purpose. Because they belief in it and want to feel a real bond.

Apple knows it. Their “evangelists” show the same brain activity as religious people when shown an icon of their “Church.”

If you don’t know what drives your customers, you can’t change their behaviour.

Creating shared value is the new mantra, striving for economic, environmental and societal benefits at the same time.

To grow you have to ‘create’ new markets and it doesn’t matter if it’s a blue ocean or a purple cow ;-)

Building relationships starts with listening to the people in your ecosystem.

Here’s my personal ecosystem.

Follow me on Twitter to see what’s on my mind.

My professional experience and focus.

And this is what drives me… That’s what I can add when building a team.

The Rotterdam mentality of “geen woorden, maar daden” is typical for me.

That got me (almost) to the top of the world: Thorung La Pass (5.416 m).

But it also helped me to make innovation work for the companies I worked with.

“And when the going gets tough, the tough get going.” That’s also the way I coach people in their personal development.

With people getting more and more power and ways to create a big audience, companies need to fundamentally change the way they run their business.

Some companies already open up as they let customers be a part of their company. Are you next?
